Day 2: Into the Rockies – Banff’s Enchantment

The following morning, we embarked on a scenic pilgrimage to Banff, the majestic peaks of the Rockies beckoning us onward. A brief pause at the historic Banff Train Station allowed us to soak in the atmosphere before we continued our ascent towards Tunnel Mountain and the awe-inspiring Surprise Corner Viewpoint. The Guide Along app narrated stories of the region as the mountains loomed ever closer, their peaks dusted with snow. The grandeur of Banff National Park unfurled before us, a breathtaking panorama of snow-capped peaks, turquoise lakes, and emerald forests. We abandoned our vehicle to wander along the banks of the Bow River, and the roar of Bow Falls was a soothing soundtrack to our exploration.
